Tim has over 20 years experience as a civil trial attorney. He has an active litigation practice and represents commercial entities and individuals throughout Washington in a wide array of disputes, including litigation involving contracts, real property agreements, easements, adverse possession and boundary disputes, title and title insurance, partition of real property, construction, liens, lender liability, wrongful foreclosure, mortgage fraud, professional liability, insurance coverage, bad faith and fraud. He has significant trial and arbitration experience, and has mediated hundreds of disputes to a successful conclusion for his clients.

REPRESENTATIVE MATTERS

• Professional Liability—Successfully defended numerous claims against attorneys, and insurance and real estate professionals.
• Mortgage Fraud—Successfully defended residential mortgage lenders' lien interests in numerous disputes arising out of borrower and broker mortgage fraud.
• Lender Liability/Wrongful Foreclosure Litigation—Successfully represented interests of lenders and foreclosure trustees in litigation involving allegations of wrongful foreclosures (judicial and non-judicial) and mortgage fraud.
• Defense Trial Verdict: Commercial Lease Dispute—Obtained jury verdict for banking institution arising out of lease dispute.
• Defense Trial Verdict: Declaratory Judgment Action—Obtained jury verdict and court declaration of no insurance coverage for claims of corporation arising out of corporate agent’s arson of insured corporate property.
• Defense Trial Verdict: Insurance Contract Cancellation—Obtained jury verdict arising out of insurer’s cancellation of policy of insurance.
